New Artwork

During the summer months, Earle had been working on several exciting new artwork commissions, including two large watercolors that capture the beauty and spirit of the canyonlands once occupied by the ancestral Pueblo peoples of New Mexico.

Children's Books

There has been considerable interest in Earle's children's books, and a major effort is underway to make the books available. Presently, the story line and graphics for the first group of books are being expanded and refined, and all aspects of the publication process are being pursued in depth.

Although this project had been delayed while Earle concentrated on several art commissions and architectural projects, priorities are now shifting back to the eagerly awaited children's books. Look for the first books in early 2007.

Fine Art Cards

Earle's fine art cards have been added to this Web site. Many new images are being considered for the art card collection.

Art Shows

The popular Studio Art Tour sponsored by the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art included a visit to Earle Florence's studio on January 25, 2006. On display were many of Earle's fine-art drawings and paintings, fine-art cards, whimsical illustrations, writings and architectural materials. After the tour, the exhibit remained open to the general public for two additional days. Most of Earle's artwork and the fine art cards (15 designs) were available for purchase at the show.

Earle hosted a second art show on April 7, 2006. The three-day show focused on his children's books and an expanded collection of his fine-art drawings and paintings. The fine art cards, which had been very popular at the first show, had been expanded from 15 to 28 designs for the second show.

Earle's third art show was held on November 23-26, 2006 at the CVE III Clubhouse in Tempe, AZ.
